MEET DR. Mordy Fried
Mordy Fried, DMD, MSE
Dr. Fried earned both his Bachelor of Science (BSE) and Master of Science (MSE) degrees in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Science before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society in recognition of his academic achievement and commitment to the dental profession. Dr. Fried then completed his orthodontic residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he received advanced training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
Drawing on his background in bioengineering, Dr. Fried brings a unique analytical perspective to orthodontic treatment. By combining biomechanical principles with the latest advances in technology, he creates efficient, highly individualized treatment plans that deliver outstanding results. Dr. Fried has a particular interest in early orthodontic care; he has lectured on Phase I interceptive treatment and the importance of early intervention during the mixed dentition stage and has done research on sleep disordered breathing.
Known for his warm and approachable manner, Dr. Fried takes the time to understand the priorities of each patient and family. He believes that exceptional orthodontic care begins with listening, understanding, and providing personalized attention. Dr. Fried is a founder of BLVD Orthodontics in Lakewood, New Jersey, established in partnership with Dr. Eisenberger and Dr. Adler.
